RENTAL CONDITIONS

Shop is open from 10AM-6PM every day in Gavrila Principa 13
Helmets and bike locks are provided for free
S/M size and L/XL size of bikes
Valid ID necessary as a deposit (passport, driving licence, national ID) or deposit 200EUR/24000DIN. For gravel and E-bikes both ID and deposit are mandatory
Payment can be made only in cash once you come back
Longer rentals are also possible with discount
Always lock your bike, even for a minute
Belgrade Bike Central carries no responsibility whatsoever for any personal injuries or damaged/lost personal items such as mobile phones during the rental period.
Our bike tires are puncture resistant up to a certain level, but if you get a punctured tire it is at your own expense, we will let you know where you can get help in the city, or in certain situations we can come to repair it.
If your bike gets stolen, you have to pay 200EUR for city and trekking bikes and 1500EUR for gravel and E bikes
If your bike gets damaged, you have to pay for the repair, don`t worry, we don`t rip off people, we just charge for the damaged parts.

Do you have suggestions where to go for a ride?

Of course we do! We suggest to visit Zemun, New Belgrade and Ada because they are easy to ride through and are best seen from a bicycle. Please consult our map with plotted routes and suggested places to visit.

What kind of bikes do you rent?

We rent Several types of bikes

- 6 speed city bikes, comfortable upright sitting position, also known as Amsterdam style bikes. These bicycles are suitable for leisure ride around the city, but not the best option for long distance tours

- Trekking/hybrid bikes 21 speed, front suspension, more suitable for long distance or light offroad riding

-Gravel/road bikes with aluminium or carbon frames, with gravel or road tyres with groupsets from Shimano 105 to Ultegra.

-E bikes from KTM with Bosch engines.

Do you have children seats or kid bicycles?

We have a rickshaw that is attached behind a bike. We also have children seats, but please contact us first to check availability. For the moment we don`t have any small bicycles suitable for children.

What should I do if my bike gets stolen?

In this unfortunate event best is to contact the police so you get a report about it so you could claim the deposit we charge back from your travel insurance. We unfortunately have to charge you the missing bike fee which is 200EUR or 1200EUR for gravel and E bikes because insurance companies in Serbia are not willing to insure the bikes. We will of course issue you any necessary document that you would need to submit your claim to your insurance company. If you rent a bike for several days, we highly discourage leaving it locked on the street or in the corridor of your building, but keep it in your apartment or another safe place. Also, never leave your bike unlocked, even if you park for a quick coffee. Never leave your valuables on the bike either, we don`t want that you have unpleasant experience.

What to do if my bike gets broken or has a flat tire?

First get in touch with us, best by whatsapp or viber. For simple repairs, like a flat tire, we will send you the address of the nearest bike repair shop. However. cost of this repair is on you. For bigger problems we might come and fix it on the spot, or alternatively you can take a taxi and bring the bike to us. Upon inspection we will determine if the damage is user`s fault or our fault, and resolve the matter fairly and accordingly. This is why you should properly check the bike upon receiving it, so we can correct anything that might be wrong.
